Baseball, Soccer, Frisbee OR Sprinklers?

Dallin hasn't decided which is his favorite, but we tell him that practice makes perfect. Since church starts so late, we decided to go have a picnic lunch and play a game. While there the sprinklers came on and Dallin couldn't resist getting soaked! Not only that, but he thought it great fun to try to trick Mommy into running into them.

*Mia just sat back and took it all in stride*

Golfing Dallin

I've been sick for the past couple of days, so Dallin hasn't gotten to have any fun. But when I am fun, we go to the park. Here are some pictures my brother-in-law, Phillip Flores, took of Dallin playing golf at the park. John says we have insight into what Dallin will look like as a crabby old man.

Mischievous boy

So don't ever turn your back on a three year old little boy. Technically he didn't get in any trouble for this because he did ask. His question was, "Do you need this Mommy? No? Can I break it? Thanks!"

Here are some pictures of Dallin holding Mia. He told me I was only allowed to take pictures of Mia. He likes to hold his little sister, but quickly passes her back when she starts crying. He likes to give her kisses on the nose.

Sunday Fun

My dad is finally home from Iraq!! Our family has been praying for him every night since he left; "Please bless that Grandpa will be safe in Iraq." So Dallin's first prayer after seeing Grandpa:

Dallin: Dear Heavenly Father... please bless..., wait, Mom?
Me: Yes?
Dallin: Where is Grandpa?
Me: At his house.
Dallin: Please bless that Grandpa will be safe at home.

He is such a smart little booger. I'm glad his prayers aren't just regurgitating what John and I say.

So Dad came down for my baby shower and we spent the next morning at the park. Here are some pictures - some are by my brother in-law.

Mia gets a bath

So Mia's cord fell off a little too early and we had to have the belly button cauterized. EWWWW. Not so bad, I just felt bad for her. She acted like it didn't hurt, though. So we got to give her a bath the other day. It's funny because we have exact same pictures for Dallin's first bath. I think they look almost identical - our camera is better quality, but otherwise pretty similar... She loved it of course, and even gave us a smile.
